On a side note, ‘Galinstan’ or Gallium-Indium-Stannum(Tin) alloys have a freezing point at -19 C meaning they are liquid at room temperature. They are therefore a sort of safe alternative to mercury in that you can play with them and they won’t give you mercury poisoning.
